Consultant - Robinson e-Consulting (April 1998 - Current) – Design, manufacturing, test, and repair of electronic circuit assemblies and software.
Senior Engineer - Menard Engine Group (June 2008 - February 2010) - The main task here was the design of a car Dash for racing vehicles. This was accomplished using an ARM uP with embedded Linux. Its user interface program was written using C with GTK for downloading settings and displaying data obtained from a data logger. Other projects included problem solving, filter subroutines, math subroutines (a quick assembly language square root routine) and processor/module selection.
Senior Engineer - Zionsville Engineering, Inc. (June 1999 - June 2000) - One of the main tasks here was the design of a user interface program using C++ for downloading settings to a radio from a database.
Central Engineering Manager - Span, Inc. (October 1995 - April 1998) - Oversee the Central Engineering Department. Tasks included: the definition of procedures, requirements, and documentation for bringing products from engineering to production. One major task was the specification, purchase, and complete installation of a NetWare 4.10 system with both PC and Macintosh clients. Another was the software design of a floating globe project, which received a patent.
Computer Engineer - Span, Inc. (July 1988 - October 1995) - Oversee product design: determining customer requirements, estimating time, customer quotes, project leadership and design, and customer service. Other tasks include: coding software, logic circuit design, and printed circuit board layout, assembly, testing and repair.
